Well Rayne is still cookin’. I went in on Saturday to be hooked up to another NST (stress test) machine and get an ultrasound to check the fluid levels. The levels were the same as Friday, so that was good news. I was having contractions though every 3-4 minutes…. some were strong and others were manageable. So…….. they sent me home. I go back on Tuesday for another visit and almost everyone I’ve talked to in the medical field has told me that Rayne is not going to make it to her ‘due date’ of Oct. 3rd. I have a strong sense they are right.
I appreciate all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers! They are greatly needed and always gives a sense of peace knowing that I have such a great support system through the friends I have met here… So, Thank you SO Much.
While I’m giving out Thanks….. I must tell you all about my gal pal Amber over at Amberly Adventures who surprised me with a sweet card in the mail with a generous gift of a Starbucks gift card!!!! SO SWEET!! I have been pretty stressed out with work and the finale of Rayne’s arrival and it was a much needed hug through the mail that I treasure!! Thank you so much Amber!!!
To get our week started, I took a few pictures of the kiddo’s playing in the backyard that I wanted to share!! Hope your week goes great…. and please come check back tomorrow because I am going to show ya’ll some crafty things I made for my IRL Bestie for her baby shower I helped host this weekend. After all the talk I’ve had about not being crafty, I have to finally resign those words and accept it—I’m GETTIN’ CRAFTY PEOPLE!!
