How to be Mom of the Year

For every holiday, I take it very seriously.  What I mean by that is that I go overboard!  When I say overboard, I mean that I want to make the moment special and memorable!

I may not be the best cook or have my kids grow up remembering a gourmet meal, but I hope they will remember back to the great holidays we had together.

Here is how this years Easter went.  I used Animoto to make a video that sums it up—I had to use all my pictures so it feels like its in speed mode, but you get the idea!

Great job on the video! Those pictures are fantastic. Seriously...talk about an Easter to remember! :o) How many kids can say that their parents let them keep chicks for a couple of days? You're an awesome mom!!

First @Sarah Kate - well, your kiddo can say their mom let them keep chicks for more than a couple days! I think we're all jealous of that.

Janette - what a wonderful Easter for your kiddos. Those are some fantastic memories and they will cherish looking back at them one day, or their own children will. Great job, momma! I don't know how you are able to pull it all together! I try and fail. I'll stick to my somewhat decent cooking and leave the party planning to you! :)

The video of the kids with the chicks is adorable!!! Did they poo in your house? Are you keeping them? Whoa. There are A LOT of chickies.

Great video and for the record I don't think you went overboard at all. You're kids will look back with grateful hearts for all that you did to make their Holidays special!

I do need to know what you're going to do with the chicks now? I've never been that brave, you're so much better than me!

Thanks for linking up with us!
