I thought I'd give a quick shout-out to the people/places that helped to make our Minnie Mouse Birthday Party as cute as can be!

1. Favor bags: { Little Beane Boutique } She did a fabulous job on these little bags! I filled them with candy based off a picture she had shown in her store and could have probably gone nuts here!
2. Favor Custom Cookies: { Cookie Coterie } OMIGOSH they were perfect!!! I assure you this is 100% satisfaction not only with service but with taste and design!! She was amazing! I almost freaked out that I didn't order enough because Erik and I kept eating them before the party and as sad as it is for people to not RSVP or have something last minute come up-- it meant more cookies for me! They were outstanding! If I can find an excuse to get cookies again, I will order from her!
3. Custom Shirt with matching bows: {Ashlyn Grace Design } Adorable Minnie mouse ears with the #2 and Disney font was all I had to say and Stephanie knew EXACTLY what to do!! I was so impressed. I actually was not too surprised at the quality or cute'ness of the shirt because Stephanie is actually a sorority sister of mine and I know first hand that she is a talented gal!
4. Custom Made Cake: { Hands on Design } Michelle has been making cakes for my kids since Ryan turned 1 and has never disappointed me. I always joke that my baker has become the bartender for me because I cannot get enough of her cake/cupcakes and all of her amazing goodies! She is a local baker and has stolen my heart and everyone I know as well! If you need ideas on cakes that she has designed, check her out- or if you live in the DFW area, she's worth a glance to order your next cake!
WHO IS HUNGRY!? After Reese's Birthday party, we got geared up for Father's Day. I whipped out a recipe I had from many years ago that I have been saving and Father's day was the perfect reason to make it!
Johanson HOT Jalapeno Artichoke Dip
1 8-oz. cream cheese
½ cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
3-4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
4 Tbsp. pickled jalapenos
1 large jar marinated artichokes, drained
Puree the jalapenos and artichoke in a blender or food
processor. Let the cream cheese come to room temperature to
soften. Combine all ingredients and put into a 9 x 13 inch
baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. I like to brown it a bit
for extra effect! Serve warm with crisp tortilla chips or
Wheat Thins or Ritz crackers.
Delicious!!!!!!
XOXO
