On Monday I shared with you my Pumpkin table décor idea and showed you a few more pumpkins that I saved for the kids to do a craft.
I grabbed some glow in the dark acrylic paint from Michaels as well as used some Tulip Glow in the Dark puff paint for my vision. We spray painted the pumpkins with a black texture paint with specs of silver in it to add the spooky effects.
I added the glow paint on paper plates on both sides of the pumpkins, helped Ryan roll up his sleeves and get busy. The girls were a bit more work so that’s why you don’t see them pictured with their pumpkins.
Now I must tell you that I am not into scary things so this is probably as far as I might go for the spooky effects around our house. Each of the kiddos got to dip their hands in glow paint and simply place their hands around the pumpkin. We dipped our hands to get enough so that the prints would have a drip look…Scary? I would say so!
I used the Tulip glow in the dark puff paint to write their names on their personalized pumpkins.
These spooky pumpkins welcome our guests as they come up to our door.
I love using the kids hands and feet for added décor for the holidays. If you are new to my blog, you will notice that is a huge thing for me. I have more up my sleeve to share for this Halloween season! What are you creating?

Super cool...and definitely brave to let the littles play in that paint!
Wow! I really love how these turned out!! And that the kids got to help makes them extra special. I bet they loved doing that! And how brave are you for letting them do something messy in the house? :o)
And if you're wondering why I'm suddenly your newest follower, I'm having to refollow everyone with my new Google account since I didn't renew my custom domain account. :o)
how cute
I love the idea of having them use their hands for the paint - it makes the pumpkins that much more special :D
So cute! Looks like they had a blast making these - you are such a cool mom Janette!
