I was beginning to throw my heart and soul into trying to create yet another link party. I started a link party with Cherished Bliss to get people jazzed about Pick Your Plum. I really fell hard for this company and wanting to find a way to be apart of the amazing growth by sharing their products and ideas with as many people as possible.
I also bought my first ever ticket to a blogging conference that was set in September that I later did not even attend. Sad.
I also got involved in getting people geared up for Valentine’s Day with crafts I created in a series with Ashley from Cherished Bliss blog. I think this might have been my favorite:
Rayne was just turning 4 months old.. time really does fly:
Seriously Shawn & Impulsive Addict created a blog swap and I was paired up with my favorite swap partner to-date new Mom Stacie:
I forgave Stacie for the ghost pooh because it allowed my kids to cut up and have fun! You can’t put a price on that!
I shared a very embarrassing video from highschool when I tried out for mascot. I was questioning how life would have been different if I had actually made it.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day and took some pictures..
I can’t recall how Reese got the bruise on her noggin’ but seriously, that picture is just adorable!
Erik had to leave for 3 weeks of Army Training- his yearly duty but instead of the normal training, he was going to school for his promotion to Staff Sergeant. We took at trip down to visit him.
Its just crazy looking at how Rayne was so little and Ryan even looks so much younger.
So, big surprise… I created another link party! The PYP party fizzled out so I thought getting people to link up favorite finds might generate some fun and it did but eventually petered out too..
Stacie from Park Avenue shared a great find in March for St. Patrick’s Day. I had to try it myself and give them as treats to the kids at school. Stacie is responsible for teaching me some great tips!
I got crafty with peeps and decided to gear up for Easter by making a wreath.
It wouldn’t be a Johanson Journey without some footprints of my kids for decoration!
Ryan also started to get very involved with Karate, starting at his school!
What a fun time of year. So, what were your highlights? Time to link up and get started with entering the contest to win those awesome prizes.
